Soul Placements
Soul Placements By Clive Hetherington
As souls we have agendas related to our growth and learning. We have access to many dimensions, realms and planes as well as many different environments within these places for our souls to learn, grow and play. Earth is just one of these many places. This environment has particular rules such as Karma and duality, which our souls have deemed as appropriate for our education at this time. We can have many lifetimes focusing on one particular aspect of earthly existence. Knowing what our overall agenda is for this lifetime can help us align more appropriately with our true paths. The categories beloware based on those from Michael Bradford and Rosalie Deer Heart’s book "Soul Empowerment." I thank them for allowing me to use them here. Let’s now look at some individual categories of soul placements:
-
Practice Lifetime: This is a lifetime when you are embarking on a new direction with respect to past incarnations. For example, you may be changing from a lifetime of perfecting your business skills and then moving into a lifetime as a priest. With such a dramatic re-orientation, you elect to have a practice lifetime to help you "settle in." It would not be unusual to feel lost in your new choice and be somewhat attracted to the commercial world.
-
Role-Reversal Lifetime: This is about accepting opposites. You may have had many lifetimes as a priest and been unable to accept the "playboy" style of living, so in this lifetime you find yourself in the playboy role. As a woman for many lifetimes you may have scorned "masculinity," so it would be in your soul’s best interest to balance this by giving you some lifetimes as a male.
-
Re-sit Lifetime: Sometimes you have not completed part of a prior lifetime’s learning experiences. In the previous example as someone learning to be a male, if you had missed certain aspects of that experience then you would come back to fill in the missing parts. Sometimes these lifetimes can be extreme to give you the best possible means of learning what you need to.
-
Integration Lifetime: This is about bringing together diametrically opposite aspects. For example, you may be learning how to bridge the gap between science and the arts or perhaps integrating your intuition with your analytical nature.
-
Recovery Lifetime: This lifetime would be for healing yourself from past traumas. These lifetimes are generally quite intense as deep patterns and habits usually have to be broken. For example, having a lifetime that resulted in you being murdered by someone you loved deeply may result in you getting anxiety attacks when getting close to someone in this lifetime. On the surface or at a conscious level, it might be very difficult for you to track down the basis for these feelings.
-
Perfection Lifetime: This is a lifetime where you would be refining the expertise from many lifetimes in a particular area to bring you to total mastership. It may be that having had many lives as a mathematician, in this lifetime you might bring together all that you have learned to formulate new theorems and principles and become a master in this area. Having this type of soul purpose for a lifetime can make you very focused. It may cause you problems in other areas of your life, however, such as in relationships.
-
Completion Lifetime: Here you are tying together loose ends from many lifetimes. You attract the people with whom you have unfinished business and Karmic issues to resolve. You find yourself pulling together resources from many lifetimes, and may have a sense of haste and exhibit perfectionist qualities. On completion, you can choose to return to earth or move on to other places to continue your soul’s education.
-
Resting Lifetime: You can "take out" lifetimes if you need to as part of a resting cycle. You would spend this time in your "soul space." You would perhaps do this after having traumatic or exhausting lifetimes. In soul space, you exist as pure energy with no form, and there is no time or space in this existence. When you return you may take a lifetime or two to re-adjust to the linear sequence of events we experience in life on Earth.
The above examples will give you some guidelines about what you ma y be doing here. I have found these categories useful in helping to define my overall direction and in giving insights with respect to issues. When you have read through the above, ask your Divine Self or a spirit guide to answer questions relating to this information and your own personal path. You can be experiencing more than one life purpose in a lifetime, as ascension is a real possibility at this time for those who wish it. As we work through our Karmic issues to resolve our past conflicts and release trauma, we must be working in completion and recovery life times. To complete many things and bring them together puts us in a mastership lifetime. You might ask yourself what completions you’re making in this lifetime. Perhaps it would be more apt to begin by asking what completions you are making this month and what issue and traumas you recovered from last month as you move toward greater conscious understanding of your life’s plan.
