My life purpose
I understand now, after quite a bit of inner struggling, that although we all come here with the same general purpose, that is, remembering what WE ARE (pure energy that creates what it wants to experience, part of the SOURCE, part of ALL THAT IS, part of God, should you wish name it like this), every single soul has some agenda to fulfil in every life time.
This agenda may have many tasks on it, but I like to differentiate two main chapters: What we can do for others while we are here and what we are mainly here to experience and learn or remember.
What we all say our life purpose is, is that part of the agenda in which we can do something for humanity. It has to be with what you like most, your inner talents, those things that bring you joy. It’s what you should do while being here and what will give you a great feeling of deep satisfaction and fulfillment.
The other part of the agenda is what we should do for ourselves, those situations we want to experience (some people may say lessons we need to learn) and we set up before incarnating.
I finally know my life purpose, it took me a while to get it, because it was given to me as a message after much time asking for it to my guides. I was told one day that it would be given last year (2007), and a few months ago I got it. Simply that. One day I knew it. It came to me while typing something else. It was so clear that I knew immediately what it was.
I’d like to share it with you, so you can recognise how your life purpose may look like if you are looking for it. I do not mean it will be similar to this, but that it will touch your heart and you will understand it immediately. Here it is:
Help others achieve their goals by explaining, directing, mentoring, leading, coaching and advising
By learning, discovering, reading and teaching to improve my skills and knowledge
Using one to one conversation, public speaking and writing
In a way that i contribute to the world by inspiring others to create what they want, and achieve what they wish, motivating and guiding the people in their activities.

I like this post. Interesting that you point out two side of our purpose.
thanks Akemi! this is how I have felt it was for many time, although it was hard to get there!
[...] My Life Purpose, by the author of Searching Myself What we all say our life purpose is, is that part of the agenda [...]
This was a very interesting article, especially the differentiation of doing for others and experiencing for ourselves. I’m not sure that the two can really be separated. The need to serve others arises naturally as we discover our own Divinity - because we see the Divinity in others as well, we naturally want to serve the Divine within them, too. Don’t you think that the service arises out of our experience, and part of our experience is the service? I’d love to hear your take on this.
Hi Andrea,
I guess you are also right in some sense. My feeling is that part of my agenda (my Higher self agenda) is to contribute to the
evolution of humanity, using the skills and talents we bring with us when incarnating. But also I have the feeling that in parallel, our higher self wants to experience a certain number of situations to keep growing, so it chooses (we choose) what reality to manifest
in order to experience those events. Both can be indeed the same, experience how to create love, or something else through helping other, but it can be also that certain moments in our life are just simply for us to grow, and not really part of the mission we decided to take here.
